Our Artist

Alvin is a practicing ceramic artist and art educator. He had been teaching ceramic art and pottery programs in schools under MOE AMIS scheme and in other art studios. 

 

He had always inspired to be an artist since young. He started his art education in 1997 at LaSalle College of the Arts and was awarded The LaSalle Scholarship that fully financed his 3 year Diploma in Visual Arts(Sculpture).

 

In 1999, he won the Ericsson Scholarship Award Competition, a $10000 tuition grant for his further studies. He then graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts(with Distinction) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2003.

He has participated in numerous art exhibitions and his works were collected and commissioned by private art collectors, banks and established corporations.
